FAQ – How do you get magic marker out of marble tile?

There is no “silver bullet” for removing magic marker from marble tile.  According to Bill Griffin of www.cleaningconsultants.com, there are two possible remedies that might solve the problem.

First, try blotting the marker mark with a microfiber cloth that is lightly moistened with denatured alcohol or acetone.  Be careful not to spread the marker.

If that does not work, try a poultice available from a stone contracting supplier.
