The holiday season is upon us, and there\’s no better time of year to make your facility shine. Prep for the holiday office party and extra visitors by following these tips.
Make it shine (literally)
Spruce up the common areas of your facility with a floor scrubber or carpet extractor. Doing a deep clean of the floors will make your entire facility look more inviting during this special season. Other areas to focus on include the restrooms, windows and lobby.
Decorate safely
If you are planning on decking the halls this season, do so safely by using surge protectors and avoiding tripping hazards by taping down cords. The last person out of the office each day should switch off electric decorations, and make sure that your system will support any lighting you may use.
Don\’t play host to pests
The holiday season often means treats, and your employees and clients will likely be bringing cookies, cakes, candies and other delectables into the office. Avoid attracting pests by securely storing all treats in air-tight containers.
Be prepared
The holiday office party is a great time to enjoy your coworkers, strengthen relationships with colleagues and get to know clients, but it can also lead to accidental messes. Be prepared by keeping a good stain remover on hand just in case.
