One of Dawn Sullivan\’s long-time customers is affliialted with the local YMCA. The \”Y\” was holding a blood drive, and the Red Cross was handing out free \”I Bleed Black and Gold\” Boston Bruin hockey t-shirts to all donors.
Dawn knew her customer was a big-time Boston Bruin\’s fan, and also knew he could not donate his blood, as he was going through radiation treatments at the time.
So, she decided to donate her blood and surprise him with the much sought-after t-shirt.
Needless to say, the customer was thrilled to get the coveted “I Bleed Black & Gold” t-shirt, and touched at the kind and selfless gesture.
